Roman Sharf, Founder and CEO of
Luxury Bazaar. They discuss how Luxury Bazaar grew by shifting from a B2B to a B2C model during the pandemic, leveraging brand recognition and media to engage customers directly. Roman credits Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and robust systems, learned from his military background, for building his business from the ground up. He also emphasizes the importance of authenticity on YouTube, which helped raise the company's profile and boost sales.
In the first part of this episode, Roman shares how Luxury Bazaar experienced significant growth by shifting its business model from B2B to B2C during the pandemic. Initially focused on wholesale, which led to high receivables and financial risk, Roman pivoted to B2C, employing brand recognition and media production to engage customers directly. This allowed Luxury Bazaar to maintain strong sales, even hitting $133 million during the best year.
