In this season finale episode of Airmen Helping Airmen, we learn about the General Henry H. Arnold Education Grant.
This grant carries on the legacy of the AFAS supporting fellow Airmen and their families.
From key members of the Air Force Aid Society, we learn what defines the program, how to apply for the grant and why the program is beneficial to students and their families.
You will hear insight from CMSAF Robert D. Gaylor, Lt General John D. Hopper Jr., Colonel Linda F. Egentowich, CMSgt John A Farrell III, Sarah McNulty. and Jennifer Briel. In addition, we hear from Madison E. Reuter, a 2020 recipient of the General Henry H. Arnold Education Grant.
The Air Force Aid Society is offering an interest-free loan up to $1,000 to help Air Force families with dependents attending college who have been impacted financially by the COVID-19 pandemic.
If you applied for the 2020-2021 General Henry H. Arnold Education grant program, you should have received an email with instructions on how to apply for an interest-free loan for out-of-pocket college expenses, as well as extra funding if your family has been impacted financially by the COVID-19 pandemic.
