Phil Cooper spent most of his professional career as a second-generation owner of Cooper Pest Solutions, running alongside his brother Richard Cooper, a world-renowned entomologist. Along the way Phil experienced the bruises of a family business along with the incredible rewards, growing it from seven employees to 110, becoming the 54th largest company out of 20,000 pest control companies nationwide.
Along the way, the company won many awards, including The NJ Family Business of the Year and Innovator of the Year. Despite the success, Phil knew his company had hit the ceiling. In 2015, he was introduced to EOS and learned how a complete system can supercharge a business. Cooper Pest went from single-digit growth to 20 percent plus growth and greater earnings, leading to an acquisition by Terminix in 2018, securing his family's future.
Phil now helps fellow business owners get what they want from their businesses. He does this by helping them bring clarity to their vision and getting their leaders on the same page to achieve every part of their vision. He does this through the implementation of the Entrepreneurial Operating System® (EOS), getting organizations 100% strong in a complete system that focuses on Vision, People, Data, Issues, Processes, and Traction combined with simple tools to develop the team.
