He points out that many private schools aren’t looking to make profits, and students who enroll above and beyond what the school needs to meet their costs can be spent on ‘fun stuff’ for the school and students. His insight suggests that transparency about financial decisions and school policies will play a crucial role in attracting and retaining families going forward. Schools need to reassure parents about the value of their investments, potentially leading to greater trust and long-term commitment.

Guy’s insight here advocates for a broader understanding of education's role in child development and calls for a more inclusive approach that recognizes and promotes the importance of after-school programs and activities in shaping well-rounded individuals. As Guy points out, parents who buy into private education appreciate that, while currently there is not such an emphasis on it in public education.
