It highlighted the importance of customer research using Natural Language Processing (NLP) for larger companies or online surveys for smaller companies.

The conversation also discussed customer value optimization as a way to grow an e-commerce business by acquiring the right customers with the right messaging and products, as well as making customers buy more with higher AOV or purchase frequency.
