In this episode of the Million Dollar Mastermind podcast, Host Larry Weidel is joined by Pavel Stuchlik, Founder of NOA|AON. They talk about how not leaving your comfort zone leads to stagnancy, and the minute that happens, you stop growing as a person. Pavel gives us some insight into his time in a dark cave, and how he found some sort of enlightenment by the end of it.
Key highlights include:
- “I always told myself that I’m going to do something outside of my comfort zone. What I’ve learned from cycling is, life begins at the end of your comfort zone, and the minute you become comfortable you become stagnant, and the minute you become stagnant you’re not growing.”
- Pavel discusses the time he spent in a dark cave for ten days in order to reach some sort of enlightenment. By the end of it, he found that he had a true sense of who he actually is rather than who he is not. He realized that he never followed his passion or purpose, and while he was creating a legacy, it ultimately hurt his relationships and health. There was no balance.
- If you’re going to start something, you need to make sure you care about it. You can have a successful career ahead of you, but it doesn’t mean you’re engaged with it. Pavel learned this all too well, and ended up following his passion so he could feel some semblance of satisfaction in life.
