Steven has dedicated over 20 years to the fitness industry, driven by a passion for health and training rather than money. Overweight as a child, his journey began when his mother took him to the gym after a growth spurt. Spending hours there daily, Steven's infatuation with fitness deepened when his cousin married a gym owner, leading to his first job in the industry.

At 15, he won the Alamance Bodybuilding Championship, inspiring many. By 20, he showcased his business acumen by raising $300,000 in just seven weeks to save a struggling gym.

In the early 2000s, Steven opened Superfitness Club, now a local staple and one of the longest-running independently owned gyms in North Carolina's Triad area. His global brand, Superfitness New & Used Gym Equipment, operates out of a massive 178,000 square-foot showroom in Burlington, NC, supplying top-tier equipment to gyms worldwide, from personal home setups to large public facilities and corporate gyms.
