Amir has been teaching instrumental music for grades 9-12 in the Painesville City Local Schools system for over seventeen years. He teaches piano, music technology, music production, jazz ensemble, wind ensemble, and concert band courses at Harvey High School. His additional responsibilities include Marching Band Director, AV Coordinator, Auditorium Manager, Union Representative, Negotiations Team Member, and Instrumental Music Department Chair.
Outside of teaching, he is a music and media director and accompanist at his local church. He has recently launched his technology consulting company: Pixel Perfect Media and Livestreaming Service, LLC.
